Can't create LEFT joins

Description

According to any LINQ samples following code should produce a LEFT join:

Dim query = From a In CreateQuery()
Where a.Amount1 > 1
from u In m_Provider.[Get](Of User)().Where(Function(uu) a.CreateUser = uu.ID).DefaultIfEmpty()
Select a

This linq expression will create a CROSS APPLY instead.

Is there any possibility to create a LEFT JOIN or a INNER JOIN?
Should I implement this logic by myself?

I can understand that Schedule is a hard question. I'm hoping sometime in February or March but it really depends on if there's other stuff going on that's more pressing. But it certainly helps to know there's more than just our internal wish to clean this one up.

Good to know.

Is there any possibility to chat (online/mail)? I've some questions regarding mapping possibilities.

Yeah, sure, the preference being our mailing list https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/re-motion-users to keep things open source
